I understand what you mean about the forums. I have been away a lot of the last few months and only had my phone to watch the forums. You are right about trying to type on the phone. Especially with fat fingers and horrible autocorrect lol. Can't wait to listen to another great episode about another game I never heard of. Thanks for all you do Ferg.

I agree it is a great magazine. I have read 5 of 6 so far but I use the kindle unlimited to read them digitally on my tablet. I also support his patreon so I get the trading card each month and my name in the issue which is a bonus to supporting such a great effort. To me that is money will spent as I have learned something new in each issue and see how relevant the console still is after all these years.

Good article. Nice overview of the PAC-man world. Always enjoy reading about the different game histories.

Good point, just have to keep checking. Hopefully it's not like other delayed projects.

Interesting project. I looked at the website because I am interested, but no pricing and the link to the crowdfunding just links back to the page. I'll just have to keep an eye on this one.

Welcome to the group. I know from experience it always starts with a couple of cibs but then you start trying to lay the game ferg is and it gets out of hand. Since I started listening to ferg my collection has increased by 1000% because he has done some true hidden gems that I wanted to try on real hardware.
PS Ferg I have a sealed copy of space shuttle waiting for you to cover it so I can play along.

iddod - I know what you mean. The postage rates from the US are awful. For common carts it is usually double what you spend on the cart. I don't know if it's what the true cost of posting is or if it's people getting greedy ? I thought ebay made it difficult for sellers to scam on postage now. I guess the exchange rate doesn't help us either ! i think the postal rates are genuinely a bit mental, especially if you want any kind of insurance... Ferg was playing Pinball Quest earlier on the live feed, i had a quick go on the everdrive, liked it and so i figured i'd go buy myself a copy... until i realised it wasn't released here and i could either get a famicom version for £4 with a couple of quid postage, or an US NES cart for a tenner with 12 quid postage... it's safe to say that i'll be opting for the famicom cart and pretending i know how to read japanese I agree with you guys. I know from my eBay selling experiences it's not cheap to send overseas. I think it has gotten worse with the global shipping program. Even to Canada seems ridiculous then add the mandatory customs fees. When I ship to Britain I am at the mercy of Canada post and it is usually $12 CAD for airmail with no tracking or nothing and I only charge a $1 CAD for supplies(box or good padded envelope). So total is about £6 to £7. According to Canada post it is about 7 to 10 business delivery plus customs. Surface is slightly cheaper but like three times as long. If you want insurance and tracking basically at least triple that price. its because of this I usually buy lots to get the cost per cart down but I do have lots of copies of Pac-man and star raiders now.

First recent pickup to show up. A little cleaning and some batteries and it will be ready to try. WOW That's great Magoo !! I would love to try this with Survival Run. You realize it's your duty to do a full video review for us all ! Did you get a chance to try it yet and see if the light works ? Working on it. I fixed the rattle, just waiting on the glue to set. Already tired it before fixing the rattle and I sucked. It is so far definitely different from playing with the cx40. I will post pictures of the disassembly as I through it. Uses springs to centre the controller.

I like it when you can get deals like that, plus it is nice to have a magazine to read. I still enjoy sitting down and reading them. I like your assistants. I have a lone lost relative of them. Her name is Simone. Attachments:

That sounds like it would be fun and different. Have to look for it when it's done.
