So far it's worth every penny.
To kinda put it into perspective, I use userbenchmark.com to get a really fast rough idea in a simple number.
My old desktop (3.4ghz quad core i5-4460 with 32gb of ram and a 4GB GTX 970) got a gaming score of 60%... and I could run EVERYTHING I threw at that thing. GTA 5 in 4k at "Normal" graphics at 30fps? Easy. The Witcher 3 in 4K, Ultra detail at 30fps? Easy. 1080p? 40-60fps... closer to 60 the majority of the time. Doom 2016 with the graphics turned up as high as they would allow me to in 1080p at 80-120fps? Easy. Playstation 2 emulation (which, if you've ever tried that... it can be pretty demanding sometimes) ... Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. DX11 hardware graphics with the native resolution turned up to 8x. Never less than 100% speed.
My current desktop (3.5ghz quad core i7-4770 with that same 32GB of RAM and an 8GB GTX 1070 Ti) ... gaming score of 100%. The big difference is Doom 2016. The same resolution, just every single graphics option in the game turned all the way up and I rarely see less than 100fps. The Witcher 3? 1080p, every single graphics detail turned all the way up 60-80fps.
Not too much 4K with this new desktop because, well, I don't really care to be honest. I've got a 1080p, 144hz display. I'd rather have that frame rate as high as possible. I just play native anymore. But I did run Darksiders Warmastered edition in 5K on Ultra at (around) 60fps. hehe
This laptop?
It got a gaming score of 34%, which doesn't sound all that great.
But you've gotta also consider it's running at little more than half of my old desktop... so even though it seems like a pathetically low number you've gotta consider what my old desktop could do. lol

Got me a couple of weather radios at Goodwill for 6 bucks each. One of them is the typical white Midland brand one you see everywhere. The other is a handheld one with a charging base... but it's also got a crank that can charge the (missing) battery pack as well as run off regular old AAA batteries.. and a not all that bright flashlight. I ordered 2 battery packs for it... gonna keep it in my "Oh, shit." bag I keep in my car. Also ordered some random shit off of Wish last night after too much alcohol. And this.

Just ordered this after a few hours of testing how much power i use. $239.99 THEORETICALLY I could run everything I use on a normal basis (obviously minus the AC) purely off these panels without having to even touch my 105ah deep cycle battery. Of course, this is only in theory, and obviously wouldn't work at night (that's where the battery comes in) but yeah... we'll see how this works out. I already got a few solar solutions, but they aren't anywhere NEAR big enough. One's a 13w briefcase style that I got at Harbor Freight, and I've got two (5w and 21w) foldable panels. Imagine the kind of stuff a backpacker would have strapped to their backpack. But these are meant more for running small fans, lights and charging phones. Where they struggle is with my phone because it's got a 5,000mAh battery.

Cool. I have solar panels on my house now. It has been great getting a bill that is next to nothing.

220w with a 105ah battery wouldn't be enough to run much of anything in the long run (I could probably get a few hours of gaming in on the laptop mid-day) but it's enough to keep my shit charged when the power goes out or in the van conversion I'm looking at doing eventually.

Finally got a chance to try out those little 21w foldable solar panels I got for, I think it was 21 bucks.
Starting at 9AM... I brought it out, charged my phone from 30% to around 90 in around 4 hours. Which, considering my phone has a 5,000mAh battery, that's pretty damn good.
Then I plugged in my (dead) Kindle DX Graphite 3G and charged it up all the way.
Then I plugged in my (dead) Kindle Keyboard 3G... and unplugged it at about 5PM because that's about the time when solar becomes near useless around here. It charged it so close to 100% it might as well be there.
So yeah. Worth the 21 bucks. lol

Wow Trek. You get a lot of stuff. You must have a big 'cave' ! I've calmed down my purchases big time. I think this year the only 2600 stuff I've bought is one homebrew (Jaywalker) and a single manual (Zaxxon).

Got Wolfenstein: The New Order for PS3. I already had it for Xbox 360, but it's on 4 goddamn discs.
Along with Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor: The Dark World, Star Trek: Into Darkness and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. All 3D versions.
13 bucks total.

Looks like a nice group of games for a very nice price! Well, just the one game. The rest are movies that the local Family Video was getting rid of for cheap. I've got a Sony Playstation 3D Display and the glasses, so I figured "What the hell" haha
