Nope! I'm sure I'll come up with something else for the next episode. LOL I'm going to listen to the episode tomorrow most likely as I drive to Orlando. It's nice having podcasts to listen to on that drive.

I started listening to the episode on my drive time today. So far really smooth. I am starting to wonder if Ferg is getting tired of receiving random gifts. Perhaps storage is starting to be a problem? Ed

Ah, cool. I'm going to the parks. We should coordinate to try to meet up. Awesome, how about the Irish pub at Disney Springs, in the Epcot resort area?. They have live music and it's mostly outside. It's called "Raglan Road". I have Friday and Sunday night available. If we require another iteration of coordination, let's take it to voice. Please leave your contact info on my work mail at +1 407 458 0017. I hope to see you soon! Ed

There are some terrific musical skills being shown off in this episode. Was one of those trumpets overdubbed, Ed, or did you have someone playing with you? Either way, great reading of the Pitfall II: Lost Caverns soundtrack!
You have an awesome singing voice, Ferg! You've never really let loose for us like that, except perhaps in the "Come Together" cover.

You've never really let loose for us like that, except perhaps in the "Come Together" cover. It's nice that you noticed, thanks. It turns out that all of the 2600 music I've taken the time to transcribe is in the key of concert E, which is F# on trumpet. The way that particular melody lays out on the staff was in the low end. So I decided to take it up an octave. As I tried to play it, I realized this would be a good time to learn how to use the four track feature of my Zoom H4N, which I use for all my audio submissions. This thing is great, I highly recommend it. Once I opened up that box, I thought I'd use the remaining tracks for ukelele and "drums". It was fun, and I time-budgeted myself to less than an hour for the whole submission. I'm still making my way thru the episode. Looking forward to contributing again! Ed

It really works an octave up. How curious that all VCS music you've examined has been in concert E so far. I wonder if that has anything to do with the console's tendency to stray from consonance. Perhaps the notes on the E scale comprise the largest amount of pitches that all get along with each other.
