Looking to determine a selling price for my Computer Magic, Inc - Magicard. Years ago I was told this card and its accessories were very valuable to certain Atari 2600 collectors. Don't know if that's true today or not. Wrote a few programs with it, but truthfully it was a hassle to program but a bit fun at the time. I have Blue label Cartridge (Computer Magic Inc) MagiCard Original Manual MagiCard Template Right and Left Controller ?? Product Description single page with a note from Joesph R Biel (Fox Valley Center-Aurora, Il) Cassette tape interface ( Made by me) 6502 Software design Book by Leo J. Scanlon (Howard J Sams) Probably can find the controllers somewhere in my shed.
Yes I know it’s worth what someone will pay for it but a general idea would be a great help.
Need some help from the experts.

Holy cow, Magicard is off the charts rare. You don't need to find the controllers, they didn't come with and the buyer is probably not going to play it. Did you get it in the 80s from Commavid, or later on? I'm really curious about that part but please don't feel obligated. I think we are talking low to mid thousands here, there were less than 100 made if I recall. Best of luck!

I got it in the early 80's from Computer Magic, Inc. Fox Valley Center, Aurora, Il. I live north of Chicago. The manual was copyrighted 1981. I paid $49.88 plus tax. The cassette interface design was documented in the manual. It worked, most of the time but you better have a good tape in the recorder. This was probably the weakest link in the programming cycle.

Wow, good on you, I hope you can get a lot of money for it. Why did you decide to sell, if it's not too personal?

Just downsizing. Up in the ages, 78, worked in the computer world since 1967. Programming, business system design, management etc.
I'm really not a collector, bought my first 2600 the year it came out around Christmas. Collected a lot of cartridges but nothing special. The original is not working to good now, got to get around to fix it someday . Did a lot of assembler type programming for work and wanted to try the really low level type so I bought the MagiCard. Was asked to demo the Atari set up in a couple computer shops when there was a computer shop on every other corner.
