Are you saying I'm the missing link ? I've been called worse I was playing around with linking to a picture on dropbox but it didn't work for some reason. Used your FB method in the end. Oooh, a star from teacher (Ferg). How come you have two ? Did you give him an apple ?!

New arrival: *picture snipped* Not especially exciting - but cheap and sealed and I didn't have them. Also - they are NTSC (which is wot I collect) and were in the UK. I loved opening sealed games ! Such a thrill knowing it is over 30 years old and mint (well, the boxes are not, but I'm more of a cart/manual kind of guy. Boxes take up too much room so I only get if the price is right). so you intend to open them and sniff that 80's air? i approve! unopened boxes might as well be in a landfill somewhere

Ok here we go... Got a lot in over the past couple of weeks. I'll start by saying I picked up Chessmaster and Tazmania for the SNES, and Basketball and Real Sports Football for the 2600. I don't have pics for these, but I only paid 8 dollars total for all the games, with the SNES titles going for 3 dollars a piece. This was from a retro gaming store I frequent too, so this was really a surprise bargain for me. Next up is a trade I did on the Atari IO forums, this one with Ballblazer: Next up is a trade I did with RickR on Atari IO: And last I bought this from Phil the No Swear Gamer:

nah, gobjob behind the bike sheds Looking at this quickly, I thought it said "bake sheds," and figured that was appropriate.

postie brought this for me yesterday... it may not seem game related at first, but my gaming would be lost without one, and my previous iron (same model) died on me the other day after over ten years service...

I still have my Weller soldering station I bought for high school electronics class, think it's almost 20 years old now, still works!

Nice haul there starbuck! Thanks! I wrote in about this in my Keystone Kapers feedback too, hope you don't mind :-) Ok here we go... Got a lot in over the past couple of weeks. *snip* nice swag! did you get chance to play em all yet? Not all of them... Most of them though. I really enjoy Name This Game, for some reason it reminds me of the Octopus Game and Watch. I'm waiting for keyboard controllers, bid on a set for 10 bucks shipped on eBay. I think I have all of the Atari released keyboard controller games now. Played a bunch of Defender II as well.

I was planning on picking up some of those multicarts for my NES, but then my wife surprised me with an Everdrive N8 for my birthday, so I never ended up trying any of them out. You'll have to let me know how good that one is.

i have a NES everdrive too, but obviously it doesn't fit the famicom or famiclones, so i like to pick the multicarts up occasionally (also, both my NES's are PAL, so it's nice to play some of the games at games full speed on the FC or clones) i sat and played the first 50 games on that cart yesterday, some of them only got 5 seconds of play time (street fighter type games mainly, they're bad enough normally, but 8 bit versions are a whole world of nope), most got a good playing, some surprised me and i had multiple goes of them... importantly, all of them worked perfectly... there's also no duplicates on the cart, which is always good... i'd def recommend this particular cart, especially for the money (pretty sure they sell it in a nes format too) EDIT: i just checked, there is a NES version, and it uses the exact same famicom PCB as the one i got, with a famicom to nes adaptor inside, might go some way to explaining why it's more than twice the price... still worth the money though www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-360-in-1-Game-Cart-72-Pins-NES-Game-Cartridge-Replacement-Plastic-Shell/32714828790.html

Some nice games there starbuck. Frankenstein's Monster is a good-un and I'm partial to Name This Game too. Had a couple of 2600-related packages this week. Firstly I got the 2600 Flashback Portable - but this has been snatched by my wife as a Christmas present for me Also got this Activision game that I didn't have:

Nice pickup Strudders! I have a copy now, but I also had this one when I was a kid. It was probably a second tier Activision title for me; I would play it when I got sick of Keystone Kapers or Pitfall. Fun game!
