I hope you don't mind that I've started a thread about your next featured game, Ferg. I just wanted to offer some very brief, potentially useful feedback: Tanks, but No Tanks is "heavily inspired" by a 1981 Namco arcade game (distributed over here by GamePlan) called Tank Battalion, in which you're engaged in a multiple-tank firefight within a maze, while protecting your base along the southern border -- just as in the ZiMAG game. Nothing I've read has pointed out this comparison, so maybe I think I'm clever for noticing. Of course, one never reads much about ZiMAG games in general!

That's cool. Can't say I've heard of Tank Battalion so I'll look up some info on it.

When i reviewed it, someone mentioned Battle City for the Famicom, but that of course came later, but seems to be inspired by the same arcade game. Never heard about it before. Nice find!

Quite fond of the Zimag games for some reason. I enjoy two of them and enjoyed collecting them - only 4 carts in their library but all fairly rare. Took a good while to get hold of the instructions though (I don't collect boxes). Like the art style of TBNT too !
