Long time listener, first time writer/poster! I started listening back at episode 100, while searching for some Pitfall related material.
I’m probably part of the younger Atari fan demographic, currently 35. However, I first became a familiar with them in the very late 1980’s, 1989, to be specific. My father’s brother had an Atari 2600 and I use to watch him play games like Pitfall, Rygar (on the NES?, I think), Pitfall and Adventure. Though he never let me play, ha.
Years went by, as did several consoles, but finally in 1995-1996ish ebay launched and I was able to finally obtain the 2600 I always wanted. Someone had listed a whole 2600 lot with a spelling error and for a $25 money order, I received 4 joysticks, 2 sets of paddle controllers, 50 games and even one of the old plastic woodgrain system organizers. Looking back, I’m still amazed the person ever mailed it. The shipping had to cost almost as much as the total sale. This was probably the start of my collector years. I, have owned an Atari Jaguar (during it's lifetime), Atari XEGS (x2, both restored/repaired), Game Boy (the Lynx cost too much), NES, SNES, Saturn (shorted out, returned for PS1), Virtual Boy (near end of lifetime), Neo Geo Pocket, Neo Geo CD, Neo Geo AES, PS2, Dreamcast and to be honest....I kinda stop caring after that last one, ha. Though I have a rarely used PS4 as well. An that's leaving out stuff like the Flashback2, a retropie setup and a whole lot of other games and details.

This has now culminated in me restoring arcade machines and consoles for just over a decade, as well as doing a documentary on the history of the American Arcade. Well, that feels long winded enough, now for something completely diffferent...visuals!
