Hi! Right now is apparently a bad time for podcasting for me. I hit a wall, and now I'm having family time and vacation. I am editing the Fireball episode when I have free time, which is basically on my lunch break at work, so it's slow going. I can't promise any dates when things will be out. Just know I am still here and still wanting to get you episodes when I can. Thanks for your understanding.
If it wasn't for disappointment, I wouldn't have any appointments.
Agree with strudders. Got take care of you. I know personally I willing to wait for how ever long it takes, cause at the end of day it is about the fun of learning about the different and obscure real VCS titles and it's not worth it if your not enjoying presenting it.
Of course I need to add my voice to this chorus of support and understanding.
Here's my angle. There have been a surprisingly large number of occurrences in my life where I cotton on to a thing at the end of, or shortly after the end of, it's heyday, only to see the thing cease. Joining bands, reading book series, watching TV shows, political ideologies, etc. I would hate for it to happen here, in a milieu that has brought me so many smiles and joy.
So, whatever the future holds for our beloved podcast, I hope the best for you.
PS Also I can't help but wonder if there is some causation between me joining the thing and the thing ending. If there is causation in this case, my apologies to all.
i disagree, pull your finger out you slacker and give me my episodes!
to be fair, if the weather near you is anything like it is here then i'm surprised you could be arsed even typing that message! take it easy bud and don't sweat it (see what i did there?), you deserve a break, so enjoy the rest...
I know the struggle, it was very hard to get back to it after I took two weeks off in June for vacation. Plus with my daughter out of school for summer break right now I need to prioritize spending time with her and my wife over podcasting. I also came home from work one monday with a raging headache, which shot a night of potential productivity... etc.
This is a hobby, and I'm sure all your listeners see it for what it is, and just appreciate that you do what you can when you can. And if they don't, their loss!
I've been catching up on the latest episodes and loving everything, and I look forward to the next episode as usual, but I feel better knowing you took your time and lived your life instead of putting the podcast at the top of the list.
