Strudders inspired me to get more active here, so here I go. As you may know, I try to cover just about every game Ferg does, so in this thread, I will try to share my videos that lead up to the next podcast episode.
So let's start with the next game: Fireball
Feel free to share your thoughts on my reviews, even if they differ with my own.

I like the videos you do. Gives me a nice visual aid when I don't do well on the games or don't have them yet. I think they really compliment Fergs episodes.

You have to be one of the most hardworking people in the retro community Phil !
Love your videos. As Magoo says - great for understanding a game. An example of that would be for Climber 5. And your Crypts of Chaos video has got me started with understanding that game !
Keep up the good work !

great idea for a thread... i know uncle ferg links to all your vids in the show notes, but i'm pretty guilty of not going to look at the show notes very often...

Thank you all very much for the kind words. I'm not that great of a gamer, but I do try to take the time to understand the games. I think many of us were guilty of just popping in a game and playing the first variation, but some of these games have a lot to offer when you understand them. So I make it one of my goals to try to fully explain the games to the best of my ability. It's crazy how sooo many YouTubers and Podcasters don't take the time to actually learn the games they cover (I think YouTubers are more guilty of the two). Anywho, you can find several games that were already covered on Ferg's show on my YT channel, but like I said, when a new Ferg is coming up, I'll try to post any videos I have for them in advance.

You are most certainly right. So many YT videos just seem to be about getting some basic gameplay footage out, or just some half-baked review. Aqualung is one of my faves that has been on there a good few years now.

I try to do the same that you do Phil, but you are a much better gamer than I am, so you can get further in a game. I sort of abandoned this part of the forum, so I welcome you posting your awesome videos here. Thanks for doing them!

Just watched it, pretty good. I like how you put the Supercharger games in their own list. I will try it today for my audio submission tomorrow.

You'd kick my rear in Kaboom or Adventure!!!

Yeah, I figure Supercharger games, much like 32X or Sega CD games, have more to work with, and are better suited compared to one another, rather than standard 2600 games. That's also why I rank homebrews separately.

Here's a look at the next game to be covered: Tanks But No Tanks

And here's some gameplay of TBNT that I posted this morning:
In case you are curious, for my next audio submission, I will be discussing and ranking these four titles:
Gravitar Megaforce Star Master Tanks but no Tanks
Like before, these all share a theme, but this one is tough, so I giving some extra time for y'all to figure it out. And this time, the titles have nothing to do with theme. (Yes, the last one was a little cheap, but coming up with a common thread for 2600 games is not always the easiest thing to do)

I used to make vids for Fergs show, but felt I was being redundant with Phil's work so I quit Phil does a better job as he does a good review, I mainly just share memories.

Dude, keep making those 2600 videos, especially of Fergs stuff! I just enjoy playing along with the show. Besides, there's nothing redundant about two different approaches! I didn't get into 2600 games until the 7800, so its cool to here about what it was like to be a part of the heyday of the VCS!

I agree with Phil what is missing from a lot of videos are lacking the memory aspect of what it was like to have played the game as a new title, not the retro pickup. Phil does a good job at reviewing the games, but it is the memories that help me appreciate the games more in some case.
