I was made aware of this and wanted to share it... THE BITS OF YESTERDAY will offer you a glimpse into the paradigm of retro video game collecting: the mindset of those collectors and show that their ambition and passion still lives on in their hearts. Whether it be for nostalgia or curiosity reasons , the days of analog are still going strong today even amongst the horrors of this strange world in which we live. Game collecting has harnessed what was and what is and the adventures in the film demonstrate that. Filmed over the course of two years and all across the country, retro game collector and director Darrin Peloquin, took it upon himself to tell the intimate story of the video game collecting scene. Traveling from gaming convention to personal video game collections, the almost unknown story of what retro collecting is and has become had never seen or told in such a way. Over 30 interviews, thousands of miles traveled, hours and hours of footage, and broken camera equipment has boiled down into a documentary film that might inspire you to dust off that old gaming console in your attic or basement and relive the past.

I agree. Just checked it out and looks interesting but shipping and the exchange rate are a killer. I hope they have a cheaper digital option in the future because $50 CAD is a little steep for me.
