Four guys (comedians, TV writers & their friends) create arbitrary musical genres & then break them down. They are funny, sometimes crude (most episodes are NSFW or for listening around younger children) and the guys are really smart. Here are some genres: - Bald Metal (my favorite): lost hair metal songs
- Divorcecore: "the 80’s trend of Boomer artists writing slickly produced hit songs about divorce and lost faith in the ideals of youth.…"
- Guyarrhea: "a musical journey through his visit to Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen and Bar using a genre of mediocre, overly flavored music.…"
- These Guys Probably F***ed": "The guys count down songs that lead you think the performers might have made love to each other.…"
In addition to the podcast, the crew created a web show in the mid 2000's where they coined the term "Yacht Rock" (a genre of music which I happen to love, as it brings me back to days of the 2600).
The podcast, web show & other goodies can be found here:

I have been mainlining this show since Matt hipped me to it. Now I can't wait to get to the Guyarrhea episode!

FYI, the 2600 gets mentioned in the "Heavy Medal" episode.

Yeah, I'm always happy when I hear that. I remember on Smodcast Kevin Smith was imitating the Pitfall sounds. The Guyarrhea episode was hilarious, especially JD's fake Fieri bumpers.
