So Nintendo finally revealed more details last week with the Switch and showed off some of their lineup. I think the basic premise seems pretty cool: a system that can be played at home and on the go. I guess it is just a bit of an evolution of the Wii U. Though you could play many of the games on the Wii U gamepad while someone else used the TV for other things, you couldn't leave the vicinity of the Wii U as the gamepad would lose connectivity.
I am not sure I will get one off the bat when it releases like I did the Wii U. I think I would like to see some other third party games first, and maybe wait for Super Mario Odyssey. However, the new Zelda does look amazing. The "Arms" game looks entertaining as well. Thoughts?

I really like the idea. I will probably pick one up - I skipped the Wii U, so it's sort of a no-brainer for me. I love the flexibility built into the whole system.

i never buy consoles that are current, i'm always at least one generation behind (well, i have a ps4 but that was a present) so i'm not exactly the target audience for a Switch, but TBH even if i were i don't think i'd be chomping at the bit to get one, it's just not pushing any buttons for me... i'm happy to wait for a few years and then pick up one for twenty quid btw, the Stone Age Gamer podcast did a pretty good round up of the Switch in their last episode... it's well worth a listen...
