1hr 50 mins in... but paused so that i can think about sleep... it's 11.55pm here and i'm working tomorrow, but that just means i can enjoy the rest of this wonderful episode while i'm out doing my rounds in the morning... a little update for Uncle Ferg & our resident librarian, it's now the wednesday after i sent my submission and Mouse is still here, in fact she's laid next to me on the bed... no kittens yet, but her belly is larger and doing that weird moving on it's own thing, she's also now refusing to leave the house and spending most of her time in the bedroom with me... so we may have some tiny furry presents for crimbo... ooh, almost forgot, i can vouch for Dave's reporting of shops closing for a week or two over the crimbo period here in britain in the 70's and 80's (and also before, i'm assuming, but i was only 3 in the 60's so i don't remember that)... they would often close a few days before crimbo, and not reopen again until a few days into the new year... families would stock up on food to carry them over the holidays cos practically every shop was closed (with the exception of a few very small corner shops), oddly this behaviour is still practiced today, despite supermarkets only closing on crimbo day, and an abundance of smaller shops, all night petrol stations etc staying open throughout the entire crimbo period... it's quite bizarre... anyway, bedtime for me, sleep well everyone

Hi, Ferg! I really enjoyed listening to you and Sarah co-hosting this episode. I actually didn't want it to end. Thanks for taking the time to record it and put it all together, and a very Merry Christmas to you both.
